I have a 26 ft, 4400 lb boat. These poles are amazing! We haven't had any movement (drifting) on very windy and wavy days! We have always had issues drifting at the sandbar on windy days using two 20 lb anchors! I purchased the 5 foot poles. I do need to screw them in about 3 feet into the sand, but they don't move at all once they are in! I've been a boater almost my whole life and this is one of the best things I have ever purchased for the boat!!!Thanks for the FAST shipping! This is not the first time I’ve gotten sand anchors from this company. I love them because they’re terrific quality for the money and simple to use. Needed another for an aluminum boat I got for fishing, but, the others (3), I use on my 26’ bowrider at my local sand bar and they work great, even with idiots in wake boats who feel the need to boat way to close while wake surfing.Loved it !! Just wish it was a little longer! But it works greatJust checking back in since I had a family member want to order some.These are still working great over 2 yrs later. I use my windlass anchor on front and two of these to hold the back end on my 26ft walk-around when we hit sandbars . They work greatI can't believe I have been boating for so long without these. The boat stays in place and you don't have to worry about people breaking a toe on your anchors. TIP: buy 2. trying to use one + anchor will be a disappointment.Seems like the plastic they use is cheap and warps easily. Also the handle doesn't like to stay in. I had to run some bolts through it to keep from losing it in the water.Holds your boat but you cant tighten it to much or it will breakI believe that I got one with a defect in the plastic auger, first time we used it about 15 minutes after anchoring into the sand our boat started floating away. When I pulled the line in the auger tip was gone from the pole.
