We ordered this small one and loved it so much that we ordered a large one too. It is beautiful and the quality is great. The problem we have with the big rug though is the creases from shipping!! They are so creased and we have tried everything to get them out.....heavy objects for days, hair dryer , ice , carpet tape ..... everything we could find to try and the creases will not go away. The large rug was an expensive purchase for us ...so we are living with it for now. Future buyers.....BEWARE!I was hoping that "Midnight" meant black, but it means blue. If you're looking for a dark blue rug, then this rug is gorgeous. The taupe has a beautiful expensive looking sheen. If this rug was black and taupe I would absolutely keep it, but ultimately, not the color scheme I was going for.Love the color and the quality . I had bought a smaller one the same brand and color and love it. The problem with this large one is the deep, deep creases from shipping. I have tried everything to get them out and nothing worked. I even tried a hair dryer and it melted the carpet in some places. Have to live with it now. Creases are still there several weeks later. Buyer beware!!!! These creases were not just rolled creases but deep seams ...I have never had this with any large rug I’ve purchased.I purchased this rug in February ahead of time in anticipating my move to a new home in June. Last week on June 9th, I unrolled the carpet for the first time in my new home and was shocked to see the deep creases in the carpet. The carpet had been folded a number of times and then rolled into shipping plastic. Not sure if loloi or Amazon packaged it. But I assumed that the creases would eventually relax. It is now been 9 days since the carpet has been laying on the carpet pad. Steaming with a damp cloth did nothing. The creases are still deep and extremely obvious. I wrote to the rug company about the issue and they said I needed to contact Amazon to issue a complaint.I didn't like this rug - super stiff, creases won't come out. I returned it - Amazon picked it up from my house with return label then "lost it" and won't refund me!It breaks my heart to rate this rug so poorly because it was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, It wouldn't lay flat. It had permanent bumps that wouldn't go down no matter how many heavy items I put on top of it. The backing was flat, but the actual rug fabric was sort of pinched together and I couldn't make it fix itself, even after almost an entire year of trying. That's a shame, because it's obviously a high-quality rug.My Wife and I were very pleased with the design. Not so pleased with the creasing and wrinkles. We still used it, just not in the living room as planned. Ultimately made its way to our den. Generally happy with the look of it, as far as the pattern. Not difficult to clean, we use a regular stick vacuum and occasionally a steam cleaner for deep cleansing. We like the brand, they just need to work on how it arrives.This carpet works great for indoor and looks pretty decent with my decorum. For me, I wanted to put this in my living room and it is a pretty big carpet so make sure you get the measurements before purchasing this. It fits pretty well near my couch and feels great to walk on and sit on, but if you have have a hang nail on your toe then it could get caught on the thread and ouch (happened to me). Other than that, it looks great and honestly I love the design on this. It is a very simple pattern. The material is very well sewn so you can be sure that it will not tear or rip under pressure. It is also pretty easy to clean. I just use a steam cleaner and it works pretty well. It is heavy so you can be sure it will not slide on wooden surface too much but I would want to use double sided adhesive tape just to be safe. On carpet however it holds pretty well. You can easily vacuum over the carpet if needed as well. In terms of staining, I would not say it is stain proof. It is still prone to those bad spaghetti or wine stains so be careful not to drop those on the carpet. The pattern on the carpet looks pretty nice. It fit my decorum pretty well but I would recommend using this carpet more for dark wood or dark carpet. The nice thing about this is that you are able to roll it out and it does not have any wrinkles. If you are going to put chairs or table on this, you should know that there will be imprints on the carpet over time like any other carpet. Kids can play on this carpet and pets. I would recommend cleaning the carpet if possible every few months. It will help with bad odors and such. Overall this is a good carpet to have if you want to put carpeting over your wooden floors in certain areas. It is made of tough material just careful if you happen to have a hang nail. The look is very simple but beautiful. Also it does not require any ironing out like some carpets do.
